James Haug

James Haug’s newest collection, Riverain, has just appeared from Oberlin College Press, in the FIELD Poetry Series. His other books include The Stolen Car, Walking Liberty (winner of the Morse Poetry Prize), and Legend of the Recent Past. He’s also published a number of chapbooks, including Fox Luck (winner of the Center for Book Arts Award), and Scratch, as well as two titles from Factory Hollow Press, A Plan of How to Catch Amanda, and Why I Like Chapbooks. He’s received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and has been a frequent Visiting Lecturer in the MFA Program for Poets and Writers at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. In addition to serving as an editor with Dara Wier and Arda Collins for UMass Press’ Juniper Poetry Prize, he is also editor/publisher of Scram Press.
