DeMisty D. Bellinger is the author of the poetry chapbook Rubbing Elbows, the full-length poetry collection Peculiar Heritage, and the novel New to Liberty. DeMisty has an MFA from Southampton College and a PhD from the University of Nebraska. She lives in Massachusetts, where she works as an associate professor of English at Fitchburg State.
