Retired Executive Director of the National Resource Center for Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes, Kali Lightfoot earned an MFA in Poetry at Vermont College of Fine Arts in July 2015. She lives in Salem, MA. Her poems and reviews of poetry books have been published in a number of journals and anthologies. Her poems have been nominated twice for Pushcart and once for Best of the Net. Pelted by Flowers, her first full-length collection of poems, was published in April 2021 by CavanKerry Press, and selected by Lambda Literary as one of April's Most Anticipated LGBTQ books. When not writing, she loves to be in conversations, to kayak, walk in pretty places, and read.
