By subordinating the objective facts of experience, fairy tales prioritize subjectivity and provide writers an opportunity to reveal an amplified emotional truth. Fairy tale can also help us evade the illusion of "real life," allowing us to approach social, political, or personal topics through the lens of fantasy.
